On October 23, 2021, there was a fatal crash between a pickup truck, a sedan, and a cargo train in Bloomington, Texas. The 34-year-old driver of the pickup was traveling at a high speed when he hit the back of the sedan while it was waiting for a train to pass. The sedan was pushed into the train, killing both the 51-year-old driver and the 19-year-old passenger. The pickup driver later died at the hospital.
