Between May 5 and May 6, 2021, there were two fatal 18-wheeler accidents on Texas roads. On May 5, 2021, one person was killed in an accident between an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle in Houston, Texas. The accident blocked eastbound lanes of I-10 at the Freeport exit. Few details are currently available as authorities investigate the cause of the accident.
On May 6, 2021, one person died in an accident between two 18-wheeler tractor trailers and a one-ton flatbed work truck in East Texas. The accident shut down US Highway 79 in Panola County. The sheriff’s office is investigating and there are no further details at this time.
