Shawn Jih

Shawn is a litigation attorney at Havens & Associates who focuses on personal injury and auto crash cases. He represents individuals who have been injured as a result of someone else’s negligence or wrongdoing. His goal is to take the burden of navigating the legal process off his clients’ shoulders so they can focus on their recovery and their families. Shawn works closely with each client to understand what happened, thoroughly investigate their claim, communicate with insurance companies and opposing parties, and pursue the compensation they deserve. When a fair resolution cannot be reached, he is prepared to advocate for his clients in litigation.

Before joining Havens & Associates, Shawn spent six years as a law clerk gaining valuable experience representing abuse victims in mass tort cases across multiple states, including Texas, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and California. Through that experience, Shawn saw firsthand how an injury can affect every aspect of a person’s life, leaving individuals and their families facing uncertainty about their health, finances, and future.

Those experiences shaped Shawn’s commitment to personal injury law. Shawn believes that no one should have to navigate the legal process alone after suffering an injury. He is dedicated to listening to his clients, understanding the challenges they are facing, and providing the guidance and advocacy they need during a difficult time. Ultimately, Shawn’s goal is to help each client move forward with confidence while pursuing the best result possible.

Shawn earned his Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center.

Outside of the courtroom, Shawn enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. He is a passionate Houston sports fan and can often be found cheering on the Astros, Texans, and Rockets.
